Worth - Dora Duby, tirage d'Edith Barakovich (1929)

Tirage argentique d'époque d'une photographie de la photographe viennoise Edith Barakovich représentant l'actrice américaine Dora Duby portant une des robes que la maison de couture Worth créée pour son spectacle présenté à Paris au Casino de Paris en 1929. Une autre image de la même séance montre l'actrice tenant en laisse trois lévriers.

La robe est ainsi décrite dans la revue Spur de mai 1929 : "The matched white dogs of this delightful singer and dancer and the Worth gown form a colorless symphony which immediately arrests the eye. The gown is all embroidery of pearls and brilliants to the waist and the tulle skirt is finished off with an unusually elaborate arrangement of ostrich feathers."
